Breaking ground at the compost facility!
We’re so excited to announce that we’ve officially broken ground at the compost facility at the Jefferson County Transfer Station. We leveled roughly 10,000 square feet and graveled the high traffic areas. Next step is to bring in water and power from nearby connection points and begin assembling the systems for the aerated static piles.
Ryan grading the compost site
After grading we moved some equipment to the site. Meet “Pickle” the truck and “Zanahoria” the tractor (carrot in Spanish)!
